NEW Hodgepodge Accessory Share!

You've been asking for more shares... well here's the next one, and I think its going to be a HUGE hit!

So many of you LOVE the look of Hodgepodge embellishments but delay buying a kit (treating yourself) for a couple of reasons.... 1) the kits contain a lot of accents and I think some of you feel that the kit may have more than what you think you'll use and 2) the cost

For these reasons - and many, many more - you should consider this share as a nice alternative!
First, the Hodgepodge is $38.95 on its own but there are 138 embellishments and 100 matching brads so there is a volume discount by buying a kit that has so much in it! Rather than you having to spend the total amount yourself - you'll split that with others in your share!

Secondly, most customers can't justify getting all 3 Hodgepodge kits - but if they had the option they would! Once you try hodgepodge, you'll like never go back :o) By participating in the share, you'll get a sampling of all 3 Hodgepodge hardware options including:
  • Aged Copper
  • Antique Brass
  • Pewter

Lastly, and the best reason to participate - because you deserve to treat yourself once-in-awhile!

The Hodgepodge Share is a one-time cost of $50, and with that you will get a sampling of each of the 3 colours mentioned above plus a storage tin. Each share will consist of 3 people. The kits will literally be divided up 3 ways with everyone receiving a sampling of everything offered in the kit. Here's what you can expect to receive in each of the 3 hardware types:

  • shaped clips (squares, circles, ovals, s-shapes)

  • label holders

  • ribbon charms

  • buckles

  • fasteners

  • photo anchors

  • matching brads (approx 32 of each colour so 100 total)
Might be hard to picture for some but if you look at the picture above and imagine that you are splitting 3 of these kits between yourself and 2 others - it should help to see the value in this share, aside from the obvious benefit of getting a sampling of ALL the hodgepodge hardware colours!

I'll be placing one final order for October by Wednesday so if you are interested and want to get into this share early - contact me at lisaburns@rogers.com!

Have a great night everyone!

Thank you (in advance) to Deborah, Jen and Jennifer for coming Monday night :o) I can take new guests up until tomorrow night in order to have project material pre-cut for Monday evening's class.

Where: my craft room - details, with directions to be provided to RSVP'ers

Guests will learn (& then make) 2 Winter Brag Books at this class, plus 1 bonus card. I was thinking last night that it would be fun to make a Halloween Brag Book so if you are interested in making one of these for the pics of the kiddies on that frightful night - let me know and I'll prepare the supplies for you (1 Halloween Brag Book + 1 Winter Brag Book). If you prefer to stick to the Winter theme - that's A-OK too!

OR keep it for yourself, in your purse, at the office, for your kids to take to school... the possibilities are endless.

Here's a sample of a Brag Book I made last year for my Mom! The 'tree' set used is retired now :o( but I'm sure I can find another holiday set that will work!!

NEW! SU! Marker Club Forming

Have you always wanted all the markers, but didn't have $235 handy? Well, the marker club could be for you! Stampin' Up! Markers absolutely ROCK! Perhaps anyone that has some will leave a comment for others who may not have tried them out yet...

Aside from the fact that they are water-based (so perfect for blender pen / watercolouring purposes), they are double-tipped so one end is paint-like tip while the other end is fine-tipped for journalling. They are also perfect for using on paper or directly on stamps! Finally, and the best part really, they coordinate perfectly with our 48 standard colours - so NO MORE running around trying to match up colour shades! The markers match our cardstock, our ink, our buttons, brads, ribbon etc. etc. You get the picture!

Here is how it works: The club runs for 4 months, with 4 people per club. Each month you pay $57 (plus shipping and tax). Note - I would be flexible with running a club every-other month too if it helped with budgets. This would mean the club would last 8 months - not 4.

That gets you 12 of the markers (1 colour family per month) and the matching 36 package of cardstock.
Each month there is will be 2 Hostess' so every person in the group will earn free stuff with this club. You will get a Level 1 Hostess stamp set one of the months, and $20 in free product another month. You can pick up your order from my place each month, but at the end of this club I will book a day/night for the club to get together (this is optional of course). That is when you will pick up your marker case (the only way to get the big case is to buy the whole set). So, each club member will receive a Storage Case to house all of your markers! And I will have 4 projects prepared for you to make all using markers (at no charge) I will also include a "20 ways to use your markers" tip sheet.

Hope you can join for some MARKER fun!

Individual Pkgs of 12x12 Cardstock Returns!

Just announced today on the SU! Demonstrator Website...

Beginning with the upcoming Spring-Summer Collection 2008, 12" x 12" card stock in individual color packages will return to the Stampin' Up! product offering in addition to the color family assortments!

Stampin' Up! heard our concerns (from scrapbookers all over the world) - and made a great decision to bring all the 12x12 individual packages back for purchase! I personally am THRILLED with this decision and will have to revise my wish list for the upcoming months.

Speaking of the Spring-Summer Collection catalogue... I have the opportunity to send out about 22 of these mini catalogues to customers. Some of you will recall receiving them in the past! The only way I can get a mini to you is if I have your full mailing address so if you wish to have the opportunity to get one of these mini's in the mail - directly to your home - please contact me today to see if I have the necessary mailing information for you (lisaburns@rogers.com)

Bye for now!

Does my blog work?

Good Morning Ladies!

I'm feeling a bit nervous that my Blog 'comments' isn't working... still no comments? Maybe there is no one out there?? lol! Please do me a huge favor and leave a comment so that I know there are people out there - perhaps use the opportunity to let me know if you'd like to see something specific posted and I will do my best to accommodate over the next week!

Oh ... I know ... would you like to see the names of some winners from some recent incentives? Maybe that will generate some chatter...

:o) Wanting to make sure I'm not talking to just myself,

Projects For Monday's Fall Winter Class & Evan turns 4!

Haven't had a chance to post much this week... very busy planning birthday parties and stuff!

Today, my little boy (Evan) turned 4! I can't believe how big he's getting - and by the way - where does the time go? I pulled out his baby scrapbook today to reminisce :o) We're celebrating tomorrow with family & cake so I may post a picture or two then.

Ok - on to Monday's class. There are only 2 spots available for Monday's class so I can take a couple of late registrations IF you reply by tomorrow 5pm so that I can pre-cut the projects.

Each guest will get to make 3 of the Fall card and 3 of the Holiday card (shown above), and 1 special project. I won't post the special project tonight so that there is still an element of surprise for Monday's guests but I will post it following the class.

Also, thought I would post a picture of my growing 4 year old boy! I caught a special moment on camera the other day - upcoming scrapbook page! We have a small paper in Dorchester called the SignPost - which comes every Wednesday. Evan has watched Mommy & Daddy reading the paper for some time now and decided he was old enough now to pick up the paper and review it following his after-school snack this week! He can't read yet... but you would have thought he was as he reviewed each page thoughtfully!

Thanks for stopping by today :o)

Personalized Thanksgiving Napkin Holders

With the Dorchester Fair preparations, I didn't have as much time to prepare for Thanksgiving as I would have liked but since I was demonstrating at the Fair anyway, I decided to use the time wisely and make some personalized napkin holder decorations for our family dinner.

Funny story... I was so excited to make these personalized napkin holders for everyone that I forgot to make one for myself!!

I used the awesome set 'Autumn Harvest' with the coordinating wheel 'Autumn Leaves' from Page 20/21 of the Fall Winter Mini: http://catalogs.shoplocal.com/Stampinup/index.aspx?pagename=shopmain&fsid=dca041b7-08fc-44c4-8bbd-0abbc8bb8cfe&storeid=1039273&circularid=11085

More project ideas to come shortly with this set!
