MEGA Event Update + Baby Card Sample

With just days before the BIG event, things are really getting EXCITING! Details are being finalized, projects are being carefully cut & sorted, prizes are being made up - BUT, there are still tickets left. I have 3 tickets remaining and Rebecca has a few also. Karen is sold out!
If you would like to attend, if you've been considering attending but just aren't sure, if you've found an unexpected opening in your schedule for this Sunday .... YOU STILL HAVE TIME (but not much :o) We'd love to finalize numbers any day now so email me at lisaburns@rogers.com to register!

On to a sample... I made this card when my 'So Many Scallops' Sale-A-Bration set arrived a few weeks back! I love the scalloped images that coordinate perfectly with the Scallop Punch!

REMINDER - Used Stamp Sale TOMORROW!

I've spent the week mulling over my stamp set collection, deciding which sets I can part with and which are still just too close to my heart to part with, even though they are retired from the SU! catalogues... it was a .... tiring process!

The good news is that I have TONS of stamp sets to sell AND, I have decided to part with some retired accessory type products too like dry embossing tempates (Classy Brass Templates), punches and Simply Scrappin Kits! While the process was difficult, I will be excited to see this stuff go to good homes where 'regular' use can be provided! Ohhh the drama!!

Click here to see the oroginal 'Sale' post with full details. You can also use www.mapquest.com to help find the school OR email me and I can provide directions. To give you some idea, the school is located just East of the intersection of Highbury & Hamilton!

Family Day & More MEGA Teaser Pics

Come and get em' ladies... Come and get your MEGA event tickets! Here are a few more teasers for you... Just a reminder that the EARLYBIRD bonus is on until this Friday so don't miss out on getting the extra $5 credit!!

FAMILY DAY!
What a great yesterday was! I know McGuinty has taken a lot of heat over Family Day and I'm sure if you were one of the people that had to work the holiday, it likely didn't seem 'great' to you. I think EVERYONE should get the day off on Family Day to slow down, do nothing and enjoy the people in your life!! For our family, where both parents work FT, my DHs who gets tons and tons of overtime that pulls him away from us for most of the week - a day like yesterday was almost theraputic! It was GREATLY APPRECIATED!
Tune in tomorrow for more samples from my weekend of creativity :o) Until then...

Wedding Fever!

Sometimes I miss the days when 'weddings' and 'wedding planning' was everywhere around me. At my age now, I occassionally get to hear about some exciting events via my customers or co-workers :o) I remember how much FUN it was to plan a wedding and be a part of several of my girlfriend's weddings! Although it was only 5 1/2 years ago for me, it seems so long ago (in a good way :o) lol!

Anyway, last night I had some time in my craft room so I made a bunch of different cards. It was really nice to just play around without anything specific in mind. Here are 2 of the cards I came up with. I'll continue to post the others throughout the week!

The first card was mostly CASE'd from 'dostamping' on SCS - you can view her gallery here. I made small changes to the ribbon and the wording on the card. I really wanted to use my Basic Grey Taffeta Ribbon!

The second card I created using similar colours but a slightly different background. I also got to try out my new 'Chunky Essentials Glitter'! I have fallen back in love with glitter since SU! came out with their new glitter accessories! Click here to view them in the Spring/Summer Collection catalogue (use the scroll bar at the bottom of the page to take you to Page 186).

Long Overdue For Some Pics!

You know how you feel when you have so much going on, so much to say, so much to share that you can hardly limit it down to just 1 or 2 things. And then, after all of that, you don't say/do anything!! That's how I've been feeling over the past week - I'm SOOO excited for Feb/Mar and working on preparations for some great stuff coming up that I haven't been posting on my Blog like I normally do! Sorry about that :o)

So, let's get back on track with some sample posts. Here are a few things I made up last weekend while I was playing with rub-ons! I know I've spoken of them often, so you've likely already figured out that I'm totally ADDICTED to them! It is so much fun working with objects that I previously would have stayed away from as they weren't easily stamped on - like glass or frames.

I hope to have a bit more information out shortly about some of the events coming up, as well a very cool update on my business website but until then...bye for now!

Did I mention...

...that the stamp sets that are being offered up as rewards for every $70 purchase during the SAB promotion are all die-cut (pre-cut for you)...! This means LESS time cutting your stamps and MORE time using them!

Did I also mention that if you didn`t want a stamp set as your free reward, you can opt for some rub-ons - one of the hottest trends in stamping right now!

How cool is that!
