Think 'Love'

We haven't been feeling the greatest these last couple of days with a cold bug running through our household so our schedule has been 'light' compared to what we would normally have planned over the holidays! Not a bad thing I guess... forces us to slow down and spend some time together, and inside where its warm!

I would have liked to have spent more inside time stamping over the last couple of days but here's what I have managed to do (in between our family naps). I'm trying to get my display board updated from Fall/Winter to Winter/Valentine's Day so while I wait for my preordered 'Love You Much' bundle to arrive, I decided to play with the stamp set "Something New To Love" (111692)! This is a fun set! I've had a heart set before and found that outside of its obvious use (Valentine's Day), I used it quite a bit for everyday kind of things, like when you need to fill a small space on a scrapbook page, or to decorate an envelope etc. The last set I had, I sold because it retired so I'm so excited that I have another heart set in my collection again :o)

The bag is a double pouch purse bag, and the card is 3x3 in size. I used Riding Hood Red, Whisper White and Black as my colour combinations for these projects! Hope you like them!
Here are the projects individually! Have a great day everyone and
HAPPY, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Happy 2009 Everyone

Winter Break Class

Happy Holidays to you all! I hope you are enjoying this wonderous season of Peace & Joy and that your days have been filled making cherished memories to last a lifetime ... now, go scrapbook them :o)

I have LOTs to catch you up on so I'll start with my next class! It is this coming Tuesday December 30th from 10-12noon and it centers around Moms and their stir-crazy kids :o) The class will allow parent & child to spend a couple of hours learning about and creating their very own projects!
Here's a sample for Tuesday's class - contact me if you'd like to join in the fun!

This card is CASE'd from Julestampsx3 (SCS) - I loved the layout when I found her sample! I did change the color combination and the size of the tic-tack-toe boxes as I wanted class-go'ers to try punches instead of having to free hand cut! These were fun cards to make!
Have a great night everyone!

Happy Birthday Autumn!

Hi Everyone! Happy Monday to you all!
I hope you found some time this past weekend to sit back & relax & enjoy the Winter weather!
A few weekends ago, I spent a couple of wonderful hours stamping at a Birthday Party! Autumn's 10th birthday is actually today, December 22nd but Charlene (her lovely Mom) booked her birthday party earlier in December to avoid the pre-Holiday craziness! I had so much fun showing the girls how to stamp, and use ribbon & punches and I think they really liked their cards!

I hope you enjoy a few pictures from Autumn's party, as well as the projects the girls worked on, shown below. As you'll see, the girls felt very comfortable customizing their own cards to allow their creativity to shine through!! Happy Birthday Autumn - may it be your best birthday ever!
Email me anytime if you think a birthday party is in order for someone you know! You could even throw yourself your own birthday party and invite some friends over for a Girls' Night Out :o)
