Having a Coach really helps!!

A few more samples from my 'In Color Birthday' card class! For this card, guests got a choice in colors from green to yellow to orange, red or purple! I had a lot of fun coordinating In Colors with regular colors from our 4 standard color collections. I used the Color Coach to help me combine colors that worked well together:

In the green sample shown above, I combined the new Lucky Limeade with Always Artichoke. The color coach comes with all standard colors but then has the ability to expand so that you can continue to add 'In Color' coach cards! Below are the 2 current In Color options. If you look really closely at the below coach card layouts, you'll see a color circle in the top right hand corner. These specific suggestions are what helped me to come up with some of my In Color combinations we used during my recent class.

In Color Birthday Class!

I'm just so excited about my In Color Birthday Class coming up this week! I have been pre-cutting this weekend for the guests that have registered to attend and I thought it would be fun to post the projects we'll be making in advance of the class!

A Special Card For a Special Lady!

Sympathy Cards are not always easy to make but they mean so much to those that receive them in their time of need!

This card was made for a special lady on our ball team who recently lost her Dad. The ball team wanted her to let her know we were thinking of her.

In order to accommodate all of the thoughts/feelings from the ball team, I needed to make this card extra-large (another cardmaking challenge)! I hope you find this layout helpful if you find yourself needing to make a larger card!

Snow Much Fun!

Here are the other two club projects we worked on during yesterday's Holiday Club event! I wanted to demonstrate a different type of card for the girls, something interactive, so a SPINNER CARD was the ideal choice! Because this type of card is a bit more complicated, we didn't make two of them, rather we made a coordinating treat bag using the Fancy Favor Bigz Die.

The stamp set used is from the new 2012 IB&C and it is sure to be a crowd favorite for holiday cards and holiday scrapbooking! The card inspiration, once again, came from our demo website Stampers Showecase but the bag I created all on my own (lol)! I used the new 'Starburst' jumbo wheel and the chubby snowman from the 'Snow Much Fun' stamp set!

Delicate Doilies!

Hi There!

I'm excited to share the first card project we will be completing at the July Holiday Club event tomorrow morning! I was a bit late preparing for this month's club event so I went to my trusty sources for some inspiration and found plenty! Anyhow, the stamp set used to make this card (Delicate Doilies) has taken me by surprise a bit...This is one of those sets that you may look at and think "pretty general, will I ever use it". OMG... will you ever use it! It is amazing and I can't wait to show you all of the wonderful samples and the vast uses for this set! Stay tuned!
