Great Sport Cards!

It's not very often that try to re-create something from the catalogue exactly as is.  I mean, I usually encourage 'others' to do it but I guess with me I usually start out trying to copy something and somewhere along the line I end up getting inspiration to venture off in a unique direction.  I guess I didn't realize how rarely I attempt a project from the catalogue from beginning to end - until now!

Over the weekend while preparing for my Great Sport Class, I challenged myself to create the exact sample posted on Page 53 of the Idea Book & Catalogue and I have to admit... it was SO MUCH FUN!  The projects in the catalogue can sometimes be a little more complicated than my normal style but step-by-step and with a little help from a crafty friend (Thanks Wheels) I managed to do it!

Here's the boy's birthday card we'll be making on Thursday October 3rd 2013.

 

And here's the girl's sporty birthday card we'll be making.  The middle can be replaced with football, soccer, baseball or a basketball!  Register early to secure your spot!!

Do you have a sporty family with lots of sporty events to prepare for?  Well this set is perfect for you!

Class Fee: $6

This adult stamp class will focus on making cards with the stamp set Great Sport.   We'll also play around with some distressing techniques and products.

Need to place an order - you will have an opportunity to do so at this class and save on the class fee. Place a minimum order of $30 and your class fee is waived!  Don't need to order anything...that's ok too. Spend the night stamping with friends!

New Class: Introduction to In Colors!

I don't know about you but I working with new colors!  I don't always have my own creative inspiration right off the bat with them but the more I play, the more I gain that comfort level with different color combinations!   This class will provide guests with the opportunity to do just that - see & play with the NEW 2013-2015 In Colors and make some handmade projects in the process!

Class Fee: $8

This adult stamp class will focus on making a few cards and one 3D item.  We will be using the 5 NEW colors and some new products launched in July's Idea Book & Catalogue!

Need to place an order - you will have an opportunity to do so at this class and save on the class fee. Place a minimum order of $40 and your class fee is waived! Don't need to order anything...that's ok too. Spend the night stamping with friends!

Prize Patrol!!

Bin of Rolls of Ribbon - Some Brand New never used and some used.  Prices vary depending on style of ribbon and what's left on the roll.  If you're looking for a specific retired color - let me know - I may have it!  I would guess that these will go quickly as I've never had rolls of ribbon at my sale before!!!

How about a card sample!

It felt great to get back into my craft room over my holidays and create again!  I'm way, WAY behind with my stock of birthday cards so making this card was fun and practical.  It's a layout that can be easily replicated and modified for either a feminine or masculine feel.  I'll be back tomorrow with more Open House & Sale information and another card sample!

All for sale.  After some significant time in my craft room the last few days I think I might need to have the next sale sooner-rather-than-later!!

Pricing for these will vary depending on how much of each package is left.  A number of packages are actually unopened (yes, sad but true)!  Even these packages will be priced lower than what a typical item would cost out of the catalogue when you factor in the additional cost of shipping & taxes.

Oh, and they are retired colors & designs so many of these items are hard to come by!  Email me with interest.
