Bin of Rolls of Ribbon - Some Brand New never used and some used.  Prices vary depending on style of ribbon and what's left on the roll.  If you're looking for a specific retired color - let me know - I may have it!  I would guess that these will go quickly as I've never had rolls of ribbon at my sale before!!!

Earlier this week I posted some pictures of some of my Classic Ink bundles

Announcing August Open House & Sale Dates!

I'm sure this will come as no surprise...

Here are the dates for my August Open House & Sale(s):

This sale will have plenty for anyone that either crafts themselves, needs a gift for someone that crafts, or just likes giving away handmade gifts (but doesn't necessarily like making them)! 

I will share more pictures & details of items that will be available at this sale over the next week and within multiple blog posts!  The first part of the sale I would like to tell you about is the infamous Surplus or 2 FOR 1 sale.  Everything you see on this table is part of the Surplus Sale concept and the items are FREE!  That's right...you read that correctly FREE!!  Instead of paying for these items, you take the equivalent value of the products you select and you order at least that value in the current Idea Book & Catalogue.  So for example, if you decide you'd like a stamp set from this table valued at $24.95 you take that stamp set home for free and you order whatever you'd like from the SU! catalogue with a subtotal of $24.95!!  Awesome eh!?!  Regular shipping & taxes apply to the catalogue order only and cash / credit can be accepted as payment.

REGIONALS, REGIONALS, REGIONALS!

What a great day had by all who attended the Fall 2012 Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar in Hamilton Ontario today!! 

It was an early start to the day (up at 515am) and on the road by 7am ...but it was soooo worth it to spend the day with great gals, a great company and some fantastic stamping art!  This was my 5th Regional event and I have come away from each one with new inspiration, new friendships and new excitement for my business.  I look forward to spending the next few days/weeks putting my thoughts into upcoming classes / workshops / event ideas and then sharing with all of you!

Thank you to my car mates Rebecca & Lisa - so glad we got to enjoy the day together!!

Being surrounded by so many creative and energetic women today reminded me of why I do what I do... it is all about the relationships we form and finding ways to share what we love (paper crafting) within those relationships.  Regardless of whether our bonds are created by family, work, school, kids, sports or stamping, they help to create & shape who we are!  I personally don't think I could have a side business like this if I considered this opportunity to be 'work'.  For me, it's social and it's fun and it is a fabulous hobby for those looking to tap into their creative side, and yes, there can be financial gains to be had.  I'm so lucky to have found a hobby that I can work hard at to provide opportunities for myself and those that surround me each day.  I sort of feel like I should be sharing that knowledge, the excitement and the opportunity with others - those I have built or are building a relationship with!  There will always be an open invitation to my friends / family / neighbours etc. to share the joy of stamping with me!!

Today I just want you to know that I am proud to be your Stampin' Up! demonstrator!  I know you likely stopped by to see some craft projects so I will share a few of the amazing work I got to see first hand today at Regionals!    Have a fantastic night everyone and as always, I would love to hear from you!  If you leave a comment...I promise I will read and reply to each one!  xo

Holiday Fundraiser Announcement!

I'm very excited to now share the details of my 2011 Holiday Fundraiser!  I hope you will consider attending and supporting a very worthy cause - our local Food Bank!

What: A Holiday Fundraiser with proceeds going to the local food bank!

Registrations received by noon Oct 17th will be entitled to a discounted event fee of:
EarlyBird Cost: $55

Registrations received beyond the 17th:
Cost: $60

** $10 from every registration will be donated to our cause **

What's Included: Each guest will receive the Christmas Lane Simply Scrappin' Kit complete with coordinating cardstock, Designer Series Paper and self-adhesive die-cuts AND a sheet of Rhinestone Jewels! The event will provide you the opportunity to make Holiday cards using your kit & embellishments, while enjoying a social morning with friends, food & Holiday music! There will be prizes too!

There may be other small items (such as scissors / paper cutter) guests will be asked to try to bring to this event. Full details will be communicated to registered guests closer to the event date.

Quick Sample Post!

It's HOCKEY time! Evan's LL team is off to play in their first tournament - can't wait to see how they do! This tournament is not too far from home so if I get a chance later today, I'll post again :o)

For now, here's another sample from the Shoebox Swap! A very simple card with just one color ink (Rich Razzleberry) and a great way to use up DSP scraps! The stamp image is from a new set in the Occasions Mini called 'Bring On the Cake'.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi There - I'm back! Can you believe it... two posts in one day!

This was another shoebox favorite of mine because it is simple, but stunning! This card uses very little stamping...in fact only the saying and the inside saying are stamped and the rest uses accessories!

The frame of the card is created by using the new Textured Impressions Embossing folder called 'Framed Tulips'! Like the rest of the Big Shot Impression folders, I'm sure this will be a big hit with my stampin' friends! The hearts are made from a combination of the new Red Glitter Paper (in the Occasions Mini) and some black cardstock to add contrast. The hearts were punched out using the Full Heart punch shown below!

The inside of the card has a stamped saying plus 2 little hearts made out of the new red glitter paper! Such a cute & simple card!

I don't have this stamp set or the coordinating punch yet so I'm extra glad that I participated in the Shoebox Swap at my upline's team meeting this week! I just LOVE this card!!

Unfortunately I don't know which demo's created which shoebox swap cards to give them credit but if this card is yours... WELL DONE! It's such a fun card!

The set used to create this beauty is from the new Occasions Mini and it's called 'Create A Cupcake'. There's a new coordinating punch too, so with both, your options are limitless!!

Holiday Fundraiser Event - This Saturday!

There's still time to attend my Holiday Fundraiser this coming Saturday from 9-12noon!

Shown here are the projects + the stamp set & jewel package you receive in your event kit.
