NEW Corduroy Button Shares Are Now Ready!

Come and get em' !!

As promised, here are the details of one of my NEW Sping/Summer Accessory shares! Shares will go fast, so RSVP if you'd like one right away. If I run out of my first shipment of shares, I'll order more to be ready in a couple weeks!

What are shares?
Shares are an economical way to try "some of everything", WITHOUT having to order 1 full container of each of the 6 available button colors! I have listed below, how much it would cost you to buy all of the available color of Corduroy Buttons, so that you can see the value in 'sharing' between yourself & other customers! In most cases, there isn't a price reduction or increase for the shares - you're basically splitting the contents of the packages with other people (equally)! Including the cost to buy. Shares are a PERFECT way to try out various products without a huge money investiment and they provide a ton of variety with your project creations!

NEW Corduroy Button Share - $25
Included - 36 buttons (you'll get 6 of each color listed below / 2 of each style type)
Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, Kraft, Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun

Cost to buy all Corduroy Button full packages - $95.09

Contact me if you are interested in getting one of these shares! For any pick up or local delivery of shares, I will be including this cute little storage jar, OR I can mail the shares out (after payment received) at no additional cost to you, but you must be in Canada! Unfortunately, I won't be able to mail the storage jars due to the increased cost of postage - but I will mail the shares in a smaller plastic container that you can easily use within your craft room to keep your Corduroy Buttons safe & accessible!
*Just wanted to mention THANKs to Heather S! I originally saw these little containers on her blog, and ended up finding them in a local store today! Thanks for the great idea Heather!

Watch for more shares coming soon!

    London Regionals! Wow!

I cannot tell you how excited I am that the Stampin' Up! Regionals are coming to London, Ontario in March 2009! So many of us local gals have attended this event in the past, but had to travel to get to it! So far, I've been to 3 Regionals - in Toronto, Lansing Michigan and last year in Hamilton. Every one of the events have been AMAZING and have left me in awe of SU! & completely motivated with this hobby we can stamping!

The London event has opened up to guests (non-demonstrators)...but there are only a limited about of spots for the taking! Here's a summary of the event as well as the picture above of the awesome stamp set you'll get as part of your registration package! Email me at lisaburns@rogers.com to sign up! This is NOT a recruitement type event - rather a FUN day of stamping for everyone to enjoy whether you're in this as a business, or just a wildly addicted crafter :o) lol!!

When: Saturday March 14, 2009 (9-4pm). Registration is 8-9am and I will be there for 730-8am!

Where: London Convention Center (Grand Ballroom)

    Cost: $90 Canadian

    BIG Demonstrator Quarterly Meeting!

Everyone looks forward to these meeetings! And for good reason - they are not just your average meeting! The meetin is run by my direct upline Alicia Ryckman and they are filled with wonderful friends, fun & fresh ideas, and awesome business tips!! They only happen once every 3 months, and they are open to new friends/guests so if you wish to learn more about how to attend the next meeting - email me at lisaburns@rogers.com!

Here are a few pictures of our evening last night! There were approx 70 guests in attendence, mostly demonstrators - but there were a few new guests who joined the FUN! Hopefully, we'll see some of these new faces spreading the Stampin' Up! good word in the near future!
This is the little project we get when we walk into the meeting! It has a name of another demo on the back of the treat and the idea is that you find that person and learn a little about them and then given them their treat package! Its a really fun Getting To Know You game!

And finally...here are some Stampin' Sistas enjoying the evening of fun!

    Thank You!!

What a fantastic time I had on the weekend, seeing those of you that made it out during the snow storms! I was quite touched that you risked your lives to be here to see me ...but then was reminded by a friend that "not much keeps stamping addicts away from a new catalogue release"!! lol!

So, the new Spring Summer IB&C is here and I LOVE IT! My first order is well above any of my previous 'new catty orders' (shhhh don't tell my hubby that part) and I'll be waiting on pins & needles until Mr Brown drives up with all of my goodies!!

If you would like a copy of the Spring Summer IB&C, email me anytime and I would be happy to ship one out to you (I'll pay for the shipping cost)!! The catalogue is also available online - check it out on my Blog sidebar or visit my business website by clicking here! Have a wonderful Tuesday everyone!

    When the weather doesn't cooperate...

    STAMP!

That was the theme today after holding my first of two Open House Events this weekend to say goodbye to the Fall Winter IB&C and say HELLO to the new Spring Summer IB&C! A number of brave souls ventured out to see me...risking their lives...desperate to see the new catalogue...lol! In the end, I had some extra time to get caught up on some of my class projects :o) Tomorrow morning I will post the samples for my upcoming 'Love You Much' Bundle Class! There are a few spots left open for my Wed Jan 21st class!

Seriously though, a great BIG thank you to those that made it by today! It was great to see you and I hope you enjoy mulling (drooling) over all of the wonderful products this catalogue has to offer! Here are a few pictures, taken before my Open House!
I have a number of things on the go at this Open House - lots of great deals & a few surprises for guests...including my Surplus Sale table, some door prizes, a Grand Prize, some great incentives for anyone that books a workshop, or joins an upcoming club AND of course some special invitations to join my Stampin' Up! team! The 2 pictures in the middle below show some of those incentives for new FAMILY members! It really is a great time to join Stampin' Up! as we anticipate the start of the biggest promotion of the year - SALE A BRATION - starting Feb 1st!
Thanks for stopping by today - check back tomorrow for those 'Love You Much' samples!

Retiring Accessory List Update Jan 16th

A Few Things To Keep In Mind...

    • Items on this retired accessories list will be available at regular price while supplies last or through January 18, whichever comes first

    • Products in DARK RED font are no longer available. If an item is unavailable, SU! supply is exhausted and the item can no longer be ordered. This list will be updated every day through January 18

    • If sending an order by email, be sure to check back for a response from me with order confirmation OR to answer questions I may have for you to clarify your order.

    • Keep in mind that the status of any retiring product may change quickly based on demand

    • With most catalogues, some accessories are completely retired while others are redesigned or reconfigured for the new catalogue. Sometimes popular items are "retired" in their current packaging or style to come back with improved packaging or added product features. This year, no accessories are being reconfigured which means if you want it - you should get it now :o)

    Stamping on Tiles 101 Class

There's still a bit of room left for my Coaster Class this coming Friday night (7-830pm) - Email me if you'd like more details! I promised that I wouldn't show the class projects, so as not to ruin any surprises, but I will show you some other Coasters & Tiles I've been working on as preparation for this upcoming event!

Fall Coasters should really be the last thing I'm working on right now but I knew I would like the outcome of using this retired stamp set 'Autumn Fest'. I love the big bold images and the colors worked perfectly on tile!

The other project I thought I would show you are tile magnets! I thought this size of tile was so cute when I found them at Home Depot so I got a sheet to try them out! Nothing fancy with these tiles...just straight stamping! I'm thinking of making enough for Evan's class for Valentine's Day - I think it would make a different gift for his friends to take home!!
    Have a great night everyone!

The Spring Summer Idea Book & Catalogue Has Arrived!

    And...

It's amazing!! I love it! I know, I know... I say this everytime Stampin' Up! releases a new catalogue but they do such a great job of making each & every catalogue a source of refreshing inspiration!

To be fair to all of the other demonstrators out there - I will not be releasing any information on the new catalogue, the new stamp sets, or the new accessories (and there are lots of them), but I will tell you that I'm extending an invitation to anyone on my customer distribution list to my Spring Summer Idea Book & Catalogue Open House!

Contact me for details on how you can get on my customer distribution list AND how to find out more about my events this weekend!

I'll be back a little later today with some additional 'Coaster' samples as I prepare for my class this coming Friday! Have a great day everyone!

    Thank You Stamp-A-Stack Samples

Thought you could all use a break from all of the Retiring List posts... As exciting & busy as it is, I don't want to forget about posting my class projects for you to see!

This past Tuesday night, I demonstrated, and then we made the following 3 cards (2 of each card for a total of 6 cards).

The inspiration for the first card was taken from SCS - I just modified the colors used a bit, changed the ribbon, and added a different saying. I knew I wanted to use the layout & the stamp set 'Bella Blossoms' for one of the projects at this 'Thank You' Stamp-A-Stack!! I can tell this stamp set will be one of my 2009 FAVs!

    Stamps: Bella Blossoms
Cardstock: Ruby Red, So Saffron, Very Vanilla
    Ink: VersaMark, Basic Gray
Accessories: Pastels, Sponge Daubers, 5/8 inch Vanilla Grosgrain Ribbon
The second card uses a Retiring Stamp Set (Thanks For Everything) and some Retiring Designer Paper! I'm ashamed to say that this was one of the first times I had played around with Hawaii Papaya Designer Paper - it won't be the last! Not sure why the picture makes the color look like red - it is actually Tangerine Tango! The girls got to make 1 Tango color card and 1 Kiwi Kiss color card for this project! A very simple card to duplicate!
    Stamps: Thanks For Everything
    Cardstock: Whisper White, Hawii Papaya
    Ink: Tangerine Tango
Accessories: Tangerine Tango 5/8 inch Striped Ribbon
The final project was also inspired by something I saw on SCS! Again, I really like the layout of this card, but needed to change the colors so that I could show the ladies how much fun TANGERINE TANGO is to work with. And, since this color cardstock is on the Inventory Blowout List - it provided them a card idea to re-create at home if they choose to order this color cardstock! Again, I changed up the color combination and the Designer Paper used for this project. I also gave guests the option to choose their own embellishment so that they could see the 'Pretties' and 'Flower Fusion' Kits. They added a little bling to their projects by selecting either the Rhinestone Brads to the flowers!
    Stamps: Flight of the Butterfly
Cardstock: Tangerine Tango, Frosty Day Designer Paper, Basic Gray or Chocolate Chip, Whisper White
    Ink: Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Scallop Edge Punch, Pretties or Flower Fusion Kits, Stamp-A-Ma-Jig
Hope you are enjoying your weekend so far! We've had a fairly busy weekend here so far, and there's more to get through tomorrow, so I'm guessing my stamping time will be limited this weekend...BUT I still have about a 1/2 dozen projects made over the Holidays that I've yet to post so I'm not worried about keepin' up next week :o) Thanks for stopping by today!

Oh Where Oh Where Could That Retiring 'Accessory' List Be...

    It's coming...

But its not posted yet this morning and I'll be heading out for work soon! I'll check the Stampin' Up! Website on my lunch today from work and if possible, post the list from there. Check back throughout the day to see what's going, going, gone!

Have a great day back to work/school everyone!

    A Productive Day!

And it all started by a wonderful morning with my Stampers 6 Club Members & friends! We made the projects listed above and focused on 2-Step Stamping, Blender Pen and Designer Paper use. For the BABY cards, we used the set 'All In The Family' and 'Family Accessories' so a demonstration using the amazing Stamp-A-Ma-Jig was in order! All supplies for cards listed below!
For the Valentine's Day card, we stamped this adorable elephant twice - once on the Very Vanilla cardstock and again on the Rose Red Designer Paper! We then cut out the elephant stamped on Designer Paper and layered it on top of the Very Vanilla stamped elephant to create our red polka dot elephant!!
Here's a picture of the ladies working away at their projects! What a fun bunch of stampers! I love having you gals over each month :o) Have I also mentioned how nice it is to take pictures that don't end up blurry 99% of the time!! I love my new camera :o)

I'm hoping to share some teaser pics for my upcoming THANK YOU Stamp-A-Stack of cards (this coming Tuesday Jan 6th) - if you are interested in attending, email me soon as there are a few spots left for the taking!!

Off to watch Canada & Russia battle it out - be back tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by today!
    Congratulations Baby Card
Stamps: All In The Family (109339), Family Accessories (109377) and Hugs & Wishes (109383)

I'm so excited to be offering this class to my customers in January! Several of you have been asking for it...so now - here are the details! The class will be limited to just 6 guests to ensure a comfortable working space and lots of 1 to 1 instruction!

    'Stamping With Tiles 101' Class

    Friday January 16, 2008 - 700-830pm

This class will focus on the use of stamps with ceremic tiles! Guests will learn how, and then get to make a set of 4 Coasters that they can either use for themselves, or they can give away as a gift! I will have several other Coaster samples on hand for you to see other ways to make this fun project work for different themes & different times of the year!

Cost: $30. All guests will receive a $25 credit back toward an order placed the day of the class.
Therefore, this class and all its instruction is just $5!!!
Here are a few samples from my time in my Craft Room today! These are not the Coasters we'll be making at the class (I'll keep that as a surprise for guests attending) but this helps to give you and idea of how much fun we'll be having stamping on tiles!

Thanks for stopping by today! See you tomorrow ....ahhh I love vacation!!
