Pricing for these will vary depending on how much of each package is left.  A number of packages are actually unopened (yes, sad but true)!  Even these packages will be priced lower than what a typical item would cost out of the catalogue when you factor in the additional cost of shipping & taxes.

Another New Class!

I'm on a role ...lol

I'm pleased to announce another new class for August! While this class will have a bit of scrapbooking focus, there is the option to attend for the cardmaking session. I will have 4 spots for scrappers and 4 spots for cardmakers!

When you register for this class, you will receive a Playful Polka Dot Simply Scrappin' Kit to work with on Tuesday August 23rd. I've timed the 6 scrapbook pages to be completed within the 1.5hr class so you'll leave the class feeling accomplished and having all kit contents in hand for further use at home!!

The cost of the class is just $35 which is what it would normally cost you to buy the kit on your own (after shipping & taxes), but by coming to the class, you get the layouts, projects & the instruction for FREE!!!

MDS Mondays!

This past weekend was Cup Day for Evan's soccer league, here in Dorchester! Evan was a 'Junior' this year in Tim Bits soccer and he continues to grow & love the sport with each passing year.

This layout uses Brocade Blue Grid Designer Series Paper - YES - MDS doesn't retire colors so you can always have your old & new favorites close at hand !!

Here's another page from Evan's year-end school party! The family that hosted this party made up 50 water balloons for the kids to use...the kids went through all 50 in less than 5mins (too funny)!!

MDS Monday!

What a fantastic weekend we had here ...lots of sun and celebrations for Canada Day. There wasn't a shortage of things to do, that's for sure!

Evan 's Grade 1 class had a year-end pool party on Saturday. The Luty Family did a fabulous job of entertaining the kids and were so gracious with their backyard, on such a hot day! I took over 100 pictures of all the days events and on Saturday night, I decided to get right to it and make some MDS pages!

I decided to try to use one of the pre-fab templates available on MDS - this one has such a nice summer feel that it worked with pool-side and backyard themed photos. These templates make completing memory pages a breeze - just drag & drop your photos - and your done!

I did, however, want to play around with some MDS options and see what I could customize within the template pages and I was so happy with the result. For example, on the page shown above, the template had some 'pink' on it, and I was able to change this to Old Olive. I also added the 3 white brads on the scallop border.

Canada Day MDS!

I have to admit, I had high hopes for myself when I purchased the `My Digital Studio` software.

I wanted a faster, easier way to keep up with my scrapbooking and I knew that this program was the answer. It is!

I am trying however to get a bit better with setting aside regular time to create a few MDS pages with the millions of pictures I seem to take each week at various events! My goal for the new 2011 Catalogue year is to share at least 1 MDS page each week with you so that you can keep up to speed on the new downloads and perhaps see if MDS would help with your scrapbooking backlog !!

This layout was super fast and easy and doesn`t really use very much of the software - but I liked the template layout (provided within the MDS program) so all I had to do is drag and drop my photos in and journal a bit! I did add an image from the Extreme Element stamp brush set described below.

May is National Scrapbooking Month!

Celebrate National Scrapbooking Month throughout May by attending a class! I am running a Simply Scrappin' Class on Wednesday May 26th that will allow you to come and play with these amazing kits while learning some fundamentals about scrapbooking!

Simply Scrappin' Class - Friday April 30th

I'm so excited to get back into some scrapbooking this week!! I've been busy preparing some samples for this class, which include some 6x6 pages, a few 12x12 pages, some cards and some sweet Happy Birthday 3D projects!

Guests attending this class will get to see them all! They will also get to make 4 - 6x6 scrapbook pages with a birthday theme! This is a great way to play around with the amazing Simply Scrappin Kit + get a few pages done in a fun setting! The kit will be shared amongst class-goers, and while there will be sample pages made available at the class, guests are free to create their own masterpieces as they wish!

Note - I will be able to open a few spots for cardmaking. Pls let me know if this would interest you. Cardmaking guests will also get to make 4 Birthday Cards - spots are limited though so please RSVP quickly if this options interests you!

I had a request to post all of my Simply Scrappin' Love Sparkles Kit Class projects, and I try to accommodate all requests I get :o) so here they all are!!

Tomorrow is the last day to sign up for this class (to attend in person for $30) so that I can order your kit and have it arrive on time for use during the class! I've extended this date from the original RSVP date of Feb 15th.
