More Holiday SAS Samples and HAPPY BIRTHDAY Wishes!!

We had such a great time on Sunday...stamping the morning away! A warm HELLO and THANK YOU to Sandi, Laurie, Jenn, Marie, Elise, Leigh Ann, Gail & Chris! You gals made this Stamp-A-Stack so much FUN - hope you enjoyed it as much as I did :o)

I also wanted to send a few Happy Birthday wishes out! Sunday was my Brother Kevin's birthday AND my friend & stamper Sandi's birthday!! Sandi, I'm thrilled that you decided to celebrate your special day with all of us :o) I hope you had a wonderful rest of your day!!

So - wanna see the other 2 cards we made? Ok!

The first card uses Kraft cardstock and Craft White ink - I love the 'frosted' look this combo produces. After we applied the White Craft ink to make the tree image, we poured Iridescent Ice embossing powder over top to create a sparkling effect (sadly not visable in the picture) that won't come off on the hands of the receiver! I also gave the girls the option to try out some Holiday sayings in the form of Rub Ons - since they are 20% off (with any $20 order) this month!

The next card uses my new favorite Holiday colour - PINK! I can't get enough of the Pink/White, Pink/Chocoate, Pink/Grey combos this year! This photo again won't do this card justice as you can't see the little 'Crystal Effects' additions we added to the tree on this card. This sample uses another favorite set of mine this year - Snow Swirl!

Finally - here are few pictures of the ladies working really, really hard on their cards! If you have been thinking of attending a card making event...you should try it! It is so relaxing and enjoyable and even if you don't become an addict (like me), there is no reason in the world you shouldn't give it a try! Holiday Stamp-A-Stack - Tomorrow's Preview

Hi There Stamping Friends!

Our winter weather is here, making me feel very festive just in time for my next Holiday Stamp-A-Stack tomorrow morning! Our area received approx. 20 cm of snow with other parts of SW Ontario receiving up to 33cm yesterday alone! I hope where ever you are - that you are staying warm and cozy and finding time to enjoy the weekend!

Last night, I put the finishing touches on the card projects for my Holiday SAS tomorrow. As always, the selection process is a labour of love...but in the end...worth every minute of prep time! I'm really pleased with the cards the ladies will make tomorrow!

Thought I would share a sneak peak today! I love these layouts...simple, yet beautiful with lots & lots of options in terms of color selection & embellishments! I took the original inspiration right from SCS's and then added my own touch by modifying the ribbon & embellishments as well as the color options.

The red colour scheme uses Riding Hood Red and the Blue is Baja Breeze - both 2009 In Colours. These cards also use Designer Paper, The Big Shot, In Colour Ribbons, Embossing, Felt Snowflakes and Brads! Transitioning to the 2009 Spring/Summer Idea Book & Catalogue!

What? The Fall Winter Idea Book & Catalogue is going away?

Well...not quite yet. But eventually all good things must come to an end so I thought I would share some key dates with you now before the nuttiness of the Holiday's begin :o)

Fall Winter IB&C retiring stamp set and accessories lists:

Tuesday December 9th, 2008 - The retiring stamp sets will be announced & published
Monday January 5, 2009 - The retired accessories list will be announced & published

Accessories, including wheels, will be available only while supplies last. Updates on the retired accessories will be published each day to reflect which accessories are no longer available. If there is something you desperately have-to-have - I wouldn't recommend waiting!

Key Dates for the conclusion of the Fall Winter IB&C
Sunday January 18, 2009 - Last day to place orders

I will likely not be ordering any more cases of Fall Winter Idea Book & Catalogues as I'm trying to avoid having a surplus after they retire, so if you don't already have one and wish to reserve one of my remaining 8 - email me as soon as possible!

Here's what I've been up to this week...

Hi There!

Just a quick post to show you a few of the projects I've prepared for this coming weekend! I have 2 different Craft Events to attend this weekend - both local (yey)!! The first event is Saturday and it's called Sisters By Heart - Christmas Craft & Gift! The second event is on Sunday and its our 3rd Perfect Party since September! Whew... I think I'm going to need an extra long Christmas break to get some much needed rest after all of these events :o)

Community Stamping Event In Dorchester!

I'm thrilled that I get to host a Community Event in November, with proceeds of the event going to support my son's Elementery School - St David's Catholic school in Dorchester! I've wanted to do a Fundraiser to 'give back' to the school for some time now and as the Holidays approach, I decided the time is now!

Living in a smaller community like Dorchester, events like this acts as a social event as well as a Fundraiser, and this event will be no exception! It is however, open to those that live outside of Dorchester and you do not have to have an affilliation with St David school to attend - everyone is welcome!

There are just a few spots left for this event so if you would like to attend - please email me as soon as you can! While the event is good for a stamper of any experience level, it is particularly good for those completely NEW to the craft! The projects are simple, yet fun and beautiful! All of the materials are provided for you, and the projects pre-measured and pre-cut so that you can focus on stamping and enjoying your creative time! This would be a nice event to bring a friend, your sister, your Mom or daughter to. Minimum age of 10yrs please, with adult participation for any guest 10-18yrs (thank you in advance for this)!

When: Saturday November 29, 2008 from 1 - 330pm
Where: St David school in Dorchester (in the gym)
What: Guests will make 8 Holiday cards with coordinating envelopes

EarlyBird Cost: $20 per guest, with $15 of each event fee being donated back to St David school! We hope to raise $350-$400 for the school from this event! Register by Nov. 15th and save $5 off your event fee!!

Late Registration Cost: $25 per guest, with $15 of each event fee being donated back to St David school! Registration for the event can be accepted up to Nov 24th 2008

What Else: There will be a light snack provided and a few prizes to give away to some lucky guests! Oh - and there will be lots of FUN!
