Ribbon Shares! Polka Dots!

What a fantastic way to try out so many of the ribbon styles SU! has to offer! I've been offering Ribbon Shares for a few years now - all different styles and colors - so with the new catalogue about to launch, the time has come to offer up a few new shares! Here's the first share I'm offering:

Polka Dot In Color Ribbon Share:

• $22 per share
• Includes total 18 yards of ribbon split into 3 yards of each of the 6 different In Colors
• Cost to buy full spools of all these colors = $111.50 (90 yards total ribbon)

I'm taking names for those interested now and will order the Ribbon July 1st. I can take the first 5 names for Group 1 of this share. I'm also offering FREE shipping anywhere in Canada for the first group SO ACT NOW to save a couple of dollars in shipping costs!!

Here's what the actual share will look like as well as some card samples I made up for my Open House to showcase each color and highlight the gorgeous ribbon!! Each ribbon color is cut into easy to manage 1 yard strips. Each share consists of a total of 3 yards of each of the 6 In Colors (18 yards in total).

Card layout inspiration came from Dawn's Stamping Thoughts. I added the White Grommets and a ribbon knot rather than a bow, but thought the overall layout was perfect to recreate in all the new In Colors shades!

Open House A Success!

It was sooo nice seeing all the friendly (and quite excited) faces coming through my door Friday night and Saturday morning for my Open House! I had some surprise guests, and new friends and of course, friends that have been stamping for the last 5 years with me :o)

The stamp sets & accessories were flying out the door and I think it is safe to say that EVERYONE loved the new catalogue!

A number of guests ended up ordering items from the retiring catalogue so I have a few more orders to confirm before Tuesday - the last day of the Spring/Summer '09 Idea Book & Catalogue! So, for example, if you select a $24.95 stamp set from my Surplus Table, you don't give me any money for that set itself - you open up the catalogue and decide on an order that is a minimum of $24.95 before shipping & taxes (you still pay full shipping & taxes on your order). You take the surplus set(s) home with you the day of the sale and feel FANTASTIC knowing you got 2 stamp sets for the price of 1!!

Open House Date!

Thank you to all of those that have emailed me to ask about my Open House date(s) - I'm thrilled to share the date with you now! I've been waiting to better understand my 2010 IB & Catalogue shipment tracking but I can't wait any longer - I'm bursting at the seams to share the dates with you!

So, in similar fashion as last year - I'm booking a Saturday morning Open House date. This date will be open to EVERYONE! It will be a rain or shine event. Here's what you can expect at the Open House:

There's still room in my class this Thursday (June 18th) for you to come out with your little one and create some fun year-end treats for their friends/teacher/bus drivers...all of those special people that have made your child's school year fabulous!

The cost for a Mom/Child pair is just $20 and their will be individual projects for your child to work on, as well as yourself!

In addition to these spots, I have decided to open a few Stamp-A-Stack spots for anyone wanting to come by and work away at some THANK YOU cards while this class is going on! Stampers Club Members Wanted!

Are you someone who enjoys stamping? Don't find you have enough time in the day to pull out all of your own stuff to make a card or a project? Need some direction on how to use some of the products you already own OR want to learn more exciting and creative techniques?

YOU should consider joining my next Stampers Club starting in either June or July - depending on how fast we fill it! We meet once a month (usually a Saturday AM but its flexible) here in my Craft Room and I teach club members new tricks using their Stampin' Up! supplies. You then get to practise by making several projects and taking them home with you to show off! The club events are free for club members and even if you have to miss a monthly event - you'll find a little something in your order bag from me to you!

Simply Scrappin' Class - Saturday June 20th!

So many of you that attend my card classes indicate an interest in Scrapbooking but you just feel slightly intimidated by the leap to this complimentary hobby! This upcoming class is for you gals!

Cost: The cost for a Simply Scrappin' Kit $30 - no class fee!

The class will focus entirely on Simply Scrappin' Kits and you'll have the flexibility of ordering ANY of the current kits as preparation for this class BUT you'll have to act fast as most of the kits are retiring (appearing on the LAST CHANCE list announced yesterday) so supplies will run out fast!
