What Does Color Renovation LOOK like?

Introducing your new 2010 Stampin' Up! Color Collections! This is a change, for sure! SU! wanted us to know how much time, and planning work went into this change as they walked us through the announcement on Tuesday... WOW!

While I know that losing colors is not always fun or easy for crafters, I'm thrilled with the coordination our new color collections will bring to this hobby. Many of the colors that have been eliminated were not highly used shades, and it was often difficult to find samples made using them. SU! also conducted many focus groups and research panels over a 2 yr span to analyize what customers were looking for in their crafting colors and what our competitors offered, in terms of varity or selection!

Time & time again, Stampin' Up! offered thee most color options in the market. While this could be viewed as an advantage for the company, customers often commented on how 'overwhelming' the number of color choices were for them, particularly our newer stampers! I'm going to summarize a few other benefits & reasons for the change in some upcoming posts, but for now, I'm going to let you digest the new look of our color collection as well as share what colors will be retiring.

TIP - You may want to do a quick inventory and decide if you'd like / need to stock up on any of the retiring colors, cardstock, markers, accessories with any retiring color as it will all retire in June. Like most years, I would expect that there will be a point-in-time when SU! inventory begins to deplete and these items become sold out! Why wait... stock up NOW and avoid the craziness that will occur in another month or so!!

Here are your new 2010/2011 Color Collections - ENJOY!

And, here's what's retiring...sniff, sniff
